Responsibilities:
oPreparing annual U.S. federal corporate and partnership income tax returns and annual state and local corporate and partnership income and franchise tax returns
oPrepares correspondence to taxing authorities.
oAssisting with Sarbanes Oxley 404 compliance as it relates to tax accounting.
oIdentifies accounting and income tax issues and proposes strategies to resolve them.
oCommunicates status of work and issues with seniors and managers
Requirements:
o Undergraduate or masters degree.
o Should be preparing for or already passed the CPA examination.
o 1 to 3 years of current or very recent experience.
o A solid understanding of accounting.
o Excellent written and oral communication skills.
o Exposure to, or basic understanding of, income taxEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
